My Album Artwork

When thinking about the artwork for the cover of my album, ‘Certain Kind of Love’, I spoke with my artist friend Peter Pateluch about his thoughts on coming up with a suitable piece of artwork. He agreed to produce a painting that would suit and reflect the music on the record.

Peter asked me to send him the music prior to working on the painting. This was part of his thought process which Peter outlines below:

“The painting was inspired by the music and by the emotional response I felt when listening to it. The painting structure, composition and colours that I used reflect my feelings in the moment. It’s difficult to pin it down in a more concrete way as it’s a very intuitive process”.
